For starters group number one did an amazing job using media skills to open up
and bring more attention towards their presentation and it is very well formatted and properly
organized. This group did an exceptional job when it comes to keeping the audience engaged
and interested in their presentation. They made it very easy to understand the sequence of each
topic and very simple to follow in case the audience happens to get lost while listening to the
presentation. Including images to bring the presentation to life made a big difference but in this
particular presentation it lacks just a little bit of professionalism and lack of using their language
effectively. From what I dissected in this presentation I would say it needs more research and
more information to make strong points and this group needs work on their informative speaking
to make the project more rich in detail and easier to persuade the audience. The presentation
needs more life in the delivery of their speech because towards the end of their presentation it
seemed as if they got a little comfortable and tired and got lazy, their visual feedback is really
good helping to support their lack of information making it better for the audience to see what
they are trying to relate in their presentation. This group figured it out early and got the strong
points in and knew how to engage with the audience.
To continue on with the next group, group number two had a very unique way of using their media to reflect their work. Their introduction was very strong and made their points clear and they let the audience know what was going to be the key points to this presentation. To say the least this group is missing a lot of information in their presentation when it comes to talking about their topic, as in they’re not feeding enough information to the topic sentence and elaborating the key points. This group kind of caught the audience's attention but starts to lose interest as the presentation keeps going, the strongest points in this presentation would be the introduction and they finished strong with the conclusion. But as long as their research part of the presentation is lacking information and they use they are using not using persuasive speech techniques they will lose the audience interest because they are looking for something to relate to and this group is trying to sell them a pitch and it is not going to work with a strong intro and outside and weak research and information. This particular group did this presentation as if they were in a hurry and wanted to get this over with, with a total of eighteen slides and not enough information to be able to connect with the audience and fully convince them this is more of a lecture than it is a presentation to convince an audience.
As I continue with the presentation from group number three, they have the right idea to grab the audience's attention but they don’t have an introduction worth convincing the audience to stay and hear out their presentation. The illustration part of this presentation is spot on and they go with they’re topics but that is all they have on the presentation. This presentation is missing intro and conclusion but in the middle they have decent points to convince the audience of their presentation, as long as their delivery is on point and it gives the audience enough information for them to relate to or for them to. Group 3 replaced a strong introduction for a media introduction which is not wrong but in my opinion there should have been more of a balance between pictures and words. Their next few slides include brief topics that they would be talking about that make it easier for the audience to follow along using a lot of the art of speaking tools. As you keep reading the presentation of group 3 you can kind of tell that once they get to chapter 12 they more or less get lazy and start to take shortcuts when it comes to giving brief information about their topics.
To continue group number four did an exceptional job using media to open up along with great brief information to bring more attention and life towards their presentation and it is really well formatted and organized. This group did an outstanding job when it comes to keeping the audience's interests at hand and giving them a chance to participate in their presentation. They made it very easy to follow along the sequence of each topic and very simple to grab information in case the audience happens to get lost while listening to the presentation. The amount of information to media ratio is nearly perfect. They Include images to bring the presentation to life made a big difference but in this particular presentation it is very professional when it comes to the media they chose to go with just a little bit of lack of using their language effectively. From what I dissected in this presentation I would say it has a good chunk of research and strong points and this group needs work on their delivery and memorizing all of their information to be able to project this onto the audience to make the presentation more full in detail and easier to persuade the audience. The presentation needs more life in the delivery of their speech because towards the end of their presentation group four kept it strong and simple until the very end. This particular group seemed like they knew exactly what they wanted and achieved it. All of their chapters in this presentation were very strong and extremely enjoyable when it comes to listening and reading it and having a conversation about the particular topic. Even just by looking at the power points it is very hard to not be convinced by this group of people that put together this presentation.
I agree the groups were convincing and excellent!
